What was Adam Malysz doing in Kranjska Gora?

Between December 12 and 16, the Polish agency Neckermann brought its agents, colleagues, and ski enthusiasts to Kranjska Gora for a festive Ski Opening event. Among the guests was the celebrated former world champion in ski jumping and flying, Adam Małysz.

The event’s main hub was the Snow Beach located behind Slovenia's best ski hotel, Ramada Resort Kranjska Gora. After enjoying the slopes covered in artificial snow, the invited guests gathered to enjoy the lively atmosphere, with music provided by a DJ from Warsaw’s Eska Radio, who also broadcasted live parts of the event for Polish listeners.

Amidst his busy itinerary—which included a giant slalom race, skiing in Austria’s Nassfeld and Gerlitzen, a thrilling zip-line descent, and a feast in Planica—Adam Małysz also took a moment to marvel at Planica’s new look. He expressed his admiration for the upgraded facilities and acknowledged that it was a bit of a shame that Poland doesn’t have a similar infrastructure.
