The Alpine Para ski World Cup will be held in Kranjska Gora for the fourth time

From January 20 to January 23, Kranjska Gora will once again host the Alpine Para Ski World Cup, marking the fourth time this prestigious event takes place in the region. Competitors from 17 countries are currently confirmed, with a total of 150 participants expected.

Daily competitions will feature three categories—sitting, standing, and visually impaired—for both men and women. Athletes will compete in three giant slalom races and one slalom race.

Milan Sajovic, Director of Hit Alpinea and event organizer, commented:“Hit Alpinea is proud to once again organize the Alpine Para Ski World Cup. This recognition highlights the quality of our past work and allows us to continue learning from such extraordinary events. Additionally, hosting this event strengthens our reputation as an organizer, which we leverage to promote other events we host.”

Livija Kovač Kostantinovič, representative of the Slovenian Tourist Board, added:“The Slovenian Tourist Board has long been involved in major international sporting events in Slovenia, including European and world championships. Such events play a vital role in enhancing the global recognition of Slovenia as a sustainable and top-tier destination for active experiences. They also position Slovenia as a boutique, active, and authentic destination. With its successful track record, Kranjska Gora has earned its reputation as an outstanding event organizer.”

The competitions will take place on the Vitranska slope, along the Pečarjev Rut course. A detailed schedule of the events is available on our website.
