See you on the slopes of Vitranc!

Today, the terrace of Hotel Ramada was taken over by pure fan energy! With the warm sun shining down and the first competitors enthusiastically racing down an improvised ski course above the hotel, the excitement was already building for the iconic competition returning to the slopes of Vitranc on March 1st.

But the Vitranc Cup isn’t the only highlight of the first weekend in March! A fantastic entertainment program awaits, featuring Fehtarji on Saturday afternoon, followed by Slovenia’s biggest Après-ski party in the center of Kranjska Gora, bringing back the legendary DeeJay Time Back in Time Carnival for the second year in a row!

At today’s press conference, held in the Oval Hall of Ramada Hotel & Suites, key figures spoke about the event’s preparations, including the Minister of Economy, Tourism, and Sport Matjaž Han, Mayor of Kranjska Gora Henrika Zupan, President of ASK Kranjska Gora and OC Vitranc Cup Gregor Benedik, General Secretary of OC Vitranc Cup Srečko Medven, Director of Tourism Kranjska Gora Luka Vrančič, and Dean Windisch, the organizer of Slovenia’s largest Après-ski event. Everything is running smoothly, and the racecourse was already successfully tested in January during the Women’s World Cup races.

At Hit Alpinea, we are proud to play a key role in making this event a success! On Friday, the event area in front of Hotel Kompas will come alive with a children’s carnival, followed by Aktual’s Galama and Petkova Pumpa. At 7 PM, the hotel will also host the team captains’ meeting and the draw for Saturday’s giant slalom starting numbers.

And that’s not all! Once again, we are thrilled to open our doors to the world’s top slalom skiers, providing them with first-class hospitality and comfort to ensure they are in peak condition for their performances on the snow.
